40 Days

The day has arrived, what day?

40 days ! That is how long we have been without a home of our own! I haven’t shared much over the last 40 days, because, well it’s a lot!!

Thankfully we were blessed with friends that took us in while we searched for a home and waited for our close date. And to say that is a simple thing, anyone would that for a friend, would be wrong! We are a whole lot of chaos! With two young children and 5 pets! Not just anyone is willing to take that on for an unknown amount of time!

The kids have not been allowed to go to school! The local school refused them, because we are not at a permanent address and the words used were ” we are not finically able to provide the modification your daughter needs” , so we will be starting in a new school soon but they will be so far behind!! I am concerned for them.

With the COVID scare and shutting down school in March of 2019, my children have not been back to a classroom! We will be adjusting to a whole routine, a whole new school, a whole new town and environment!! I pray everyday that all this will only have a positive impact on our children!!

I could sit here and tell you all of the negative shit that has happened over the last few months but I am not going to! Because so many many positive things have come from this crazy experience!!

We are able to spend quality time as a family!!! We are buying a very beautiful home! We have reconnected with amazing friends and family! We have also made new friends, met some amazing people, and we are moving forward building a beautiful life filled with love.

You just really don’t know how the universe is going to push you where you need to be. You just have to trust that you will end up where you are needed most. I am home ! Where I am needed most at this time! Or where I needed most to be!! We will see what this new adventure brings!!

Have faith! Trust your intuition! Go with the flow! But remember you have a voice for a reason, make sure your thoughts and your words are what you want out of this journey! Part of the healing process is knowing what you are willing to accept and speaking up for yourself, so your needs are met.
